Raj-Koti was a Telugu cinema music composer, singer-songwriter, record producer, musician, and multi-instrumentalist duo. The team has received special appreciation for revolutionizing current Telugu film music during their ten-year tenure. They worked on about 180 films and composed music for them. S. P. Balasubrahmanyam and K. S. Chithra sang roughly 2,500 of the 3000 songs they recorded.
For the past eight years, A. R. Rahman has worked as a keyboard programmer for many notable South Indian musicians, including Raj-Koti. The duo declared in a television interview broadcast on ABN Andhrajyothy that they will reunite in 2012 and resurrect the Raj-Koti brand.
